Distance: 150 Miles or 240 Km

Categories: Solo (Han Solo with a Millenium Falcon or Jedi) and Relays

Cut-off Time: 68 hours

RULES AND REGULATION

1. Start by Gun Time (see Complete Rules and Regulations for details about the vehicle start rules)

​​​​​

2. The runner can participate as Hans Solo, with a Millenium Falcon (support vehicle and support crew) or as a Jedi, using the drop bag system.

​​

3. The runner can stop at certain mileages, without being considered DNF. These Miles are called Decision Points or PDs. Here is a list of PDs. (see complete Rules and Regulations for a complete PD Table)

  • PD37 Miles-KM 60 - Barra, MG (Bar do João)

  • PD50 Miles-KM 80 - Ouro Fino, MG (Mercado Municipal)

  • PD60 Miles -KM 94 - Inconfidentes, MG (Pousada do Juninho)

  • PD70 Miles -KM 110 - Borda da Mata, MG (Igreja Matriz)

  • PD80 Miles -KM 130 - Tocos do Mogi, MG (Praça Central)

  • PD90 Miles -KM 150 - Estiva, MG (Pousada do Poka)

  • PD100 Miles -KM 170 - Consolação, MG (Camera Municipal)

  • PD120 Miles -KM 190 - Consolação, MG (Camera Municipal)

  • PD135 Miles -KM 217 - Paraisópolis, MG (Igreja Matriz)

  • Finish Line at Mile 150-  KM 240 - Paraisópolis, MG (Main Square): The cut off for finishing at 150 Miles is 60 hours at PD135 Miles.
     

4. All relay runners start together and begin relaying immediately after.

5. All relay runners run together from the Pico do Gavião base to the summit.

​​​​

6. The rules for relaying during race are free for each team.

​​​​​

7. The timing system is by FaceID. (read the complete Rules and Regulations for more information about the FaceID timing system)

​​​​

8. There will be tracking devices throughout the route.

​​​​

9. Walking sticks are allowed.​

​​​​

​10. If a runner needs to abandon the route, he or she should return to the same point where he or she left the route and continue the race. (read the complete rules and regulations for more details about abandoning the route)

​​​​​

11. Mandatory:

​​​​​

  • Reflective vests from 6 pm to 6 am.

  • The use of light beacons from 6 pm to 6 am on the top of the support vehicles. (the beacons are provided by the race organizers at the Pre Race meeting.

  • A charged phone.

  • Enter all PDs for timing. 

  • Bibs to be visible at all times.

  • The runner has to run all meters of the route by foot without any external assistance, besides the walking sticks.

12. Not Allowed:

​​​

  • Any physical contact with the runners while moving throughout the route.

  • Both runner and support vehicle should be fully stopped at the right hand side of the route while assitance is provided.
